saint louis fashion fund emerging designer award
i had so much fun last night at saint louis fashion week! last night's runway show was the inaugural saint louis fashion fund emerging designer award show. now this is something i'm excited to be a part of! a group of people in our region looking to support, educate, and promote the fashion industry here in st louis! i can talk about that more later - but lets talk about the fashion shows! the runway was long and amazing! we had GREAT front row seats!
first up Daniella Kallmeyer - modern, clean, with bits of buckles and pleats.
next up our local favorite Wai Ming designed by Emily Koplar - crisp cuts with soft and fluid fabrics
then Jessie Liu with her incredible color sense, prints, and some fabulous pants
Collina Strada designed by Hillary Taymour was up after- this girl loves leather more than i do - and has the cutest puppy on the planet
Remi Canarie - Chicago Midwesterners Liz Patelski and Lisa Panza - the quirkiest combo of color and print - i love their website and philosophy btw
and the last of the evening Charles Harbison whom you may remember from Spring STLFW- trench coats are alive and well and impeccably perfect in many variations - and i'm dying for those fur clutches!
all in all - a fabulous and tough competition that was won by the nicest, most humble and deserving Daniella Kallmeyer!
it has been a pleasure getting to know Daniella and i can't wait to work with her to have an exclusive look made for the St Louis Fashion Fund!
Ok - now tonight the headliners!
hope you plan to join us!
