this rocking maxi dress is INCREDIBLE from our newest dress vendor BUTTERFLY ZEBRA. this loose fitting knit dres and a flattering knot at the side front, a sexy slit on the leg, a slimming 'cap sleeve' and a low slouchy back with a wide strap set it just perfect to hide your bra strap.  the perfect summer dress, and SUPER for traveling!

how utterly adorable are these straw bags from JONATHAN ADLER?  they are the perfect size to fit my ipad, wallet and the miriad of other CRAP i haul around for my kids.  love.

and i've recently discovered the HISTORY CLUBHOUSE for kids at the MO HISTORY MUSEUM.  just another great cultural place to take kids in St Louis!  Cash clearly loved it.

ps. i made some yummy lemon bars for KZ's son's high school graduation party (What? She's clearly not old enough to have a college kid!) and they turned out really great and super-lemony, easy, but a BIT time consuming.  totally worth it.  make these a day ahead so they have time to set up!  found them through Pinterest on TheKitchn blog:
